Today, 90% of all jobs require digital skills. Therefore, it is becoming increasingly important to correctly assess and further develop your own digital skills.

The Europass digital self-assessment test on the Europass portal allows you to assess the level of your digital skills and get an idea of your strengths and weaknesses. You will receive a detailed description of the result obtained and useful advice on how to improve your existing knowledge and acquire new digital skills.


The self-assessment test takes about 20 minutes and contains the following competence areas:

Information and data literacy
Communication and collaboration
Digital content creation
Safety
Problem solving

Why is it useful to take the test? Digital literacy is important in many areas of life, such as work, study and everyday activities like shopping online, making appointments, using different services and keeping in touch with family and friends.

The test results can be attached to the Europass CV when applying for a job, giving future employers an insight into the your digital skills.
